About DemosTo grab customers' attention, developers need to show off their work in every way they can. An effective way to get people more interested in downloading or purchasing your products is to include audio demos of them. The reason is simple: if they like what they hear, they'll be all the more likely to give it a try. There are two approaches to this. Demo Songs Songs exclusively using a single product, or highlighting it in the song. Benefit: lets people get a general idea of some of the types of sounds included in the product, as well as how they can be used as part of a composition, and does so in a highly engaging way. Preset Demos For each preset, short runs or sustained single notes are played musically. Benefit: playing each preset, one at a time, gives customers the best idea of what they'll actually get when they use your product. However, these demos tend to be longer and arguably less engaging. |
