Have you tried the demos yet? All my software has been tested in a variety of hosts and on multiple systems and have performed well on most. However, due to the wide variety hosts and hardware out there (and countless combinations of them) it is recommended that you try the demos first, before you buy, so you can know how well the software will perform on your own system. Also, don't forget to check the bug list on the product pages for info on specific issues. Important info for multi-core users: While single instances of these VSTs should work well with multi-core machines, some hosts will have problems with multiple instances. For example, if Cubase's multi-processor support is enabled, it will lock up when loading a project that has more than one instance of the same plug-in of mine. Others have reported the same issue in Live and Sonar. This is due to a bug in the earlier versions of SynthEdit that I used to create my plug-ins. The latest version of SE solves this issue but created several incompatibilities with my files, which I must solve first before updating my plug-ins to get rid of the multi-core bug. Unfortunately my development time is extremely limited these days, but I will update all my plug-ins as time allows. I apologize that it will be a while before everything is fixed. In the meantime, three possible workarounds for this problem are: Turn off the multi processor support setting in your host when you need multiple instances of my VSTs. Freeze the first instance before loading the second. (Especially if your host has an 'unload while frozen' option.) Make extra copies of the dll, with different names (eg: metallurgy2.dll, metallurgy3.dll) for each extra instance you may need. (Hosts will consider each new dll name as a new single instance.)
